Bugsy Malone was the showcase production
in Kids' Gallery's Festival Week 2007. A dynamic musical comedy
loosely
based on events in New
York City between two half-witted street gangs.
Performed by talented young performers aged 10 to 16, the message
is one of good,
clean fun. The characters are wonderful cartoon cutouts, and the
weapons of choice are splurge guns, flour bombs and custard pies.
Watch out!
With a rousing soundtrack, fast dance numbers, and mature yet identifiable
roles, this was perfect entertainment for the whole family.
