Storytelling Workshops for Parents



A world of possibilities was opened in our stimulating parent workshops. Early Learners Head of Department Donner Lee taught parents ways to instill a love for books in children aged one to six that goes beyond bedtime stories. The workshops were held in both our Hong Kong and Kowloon centres in February and March. Parents learned to

• Make stories come to life through voice, props and activities
• Relate storybooks to your child’s real-life experiences
• Discuss the challenges of reading to siblings of different ages
• Choose age and language appropriate books for each stage of development
• Encourage and inspire an older child to read chapter books
