Dragonball GT By Timmy C, age 9

I like a cartoon. It is called Dragonball GT. This cartoon is about three children who have superpowers and need to get seven Dragon Balls.

The problem is that they need to get to other planets to get the Dragon Balls and there are a lot of monsters on each planet.

At last they find all the Dragon Balls and a big dragon comes out and gives them three wishes and they live happily ever after.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban By William L, age 10

The film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was not as good as I expected. It doesn't give an accurate account of what was written by JK Rowling. For example, in the book it mentioned that Sirius Black gave an owl to Ron as a replacement for Scabbers, but this did not happen in the film.

On the good side, the film showed in great detail how Harry rode the hippogriff Buckbeak.

The faces of the actors have all changed, Draco was still very cunning, Snape was still very annoying and Trellawney's voice was very squeaky indeed.

Although there were both pros and cons, I still like this film very much.

Finding Nemo
By Carmen C, age 10

Finding Nemo is an animated story. It is about a little fish called Nemo who has been caught by a fisherman. His father, Marlin, has to find his son. The most exciting part of the movie was the fighting at the dentist's. I love the character Pearl because she was very cute. It was very scary when the fish met three sharks. At the end they were caught in a net but they escaped. See this movie, you will love it!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
By Edmund C, age 9

I like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because it is very exciting. There are three main characters in the story: Harry, Ron and Hermione. My favourite character is Hermione, a bookworm. My favourite part is where a wizard called Lockhart is blasted off his feet at the duelling club. If you haven't watched this film, you should. Happy watching!

  Spy Kids
By Olivia C, age 10

Spy Kids was a very exciting film. The digital animation was so cool, it looked really real. I loved it when they gave you a pair of eye glasses. When you wore them everything looked 3-D.

The story is about the Toymaker. Someone has made a computer game, but it makes every child who plays it go ³into² it. The OSS (our heroes) found out about this and sent agents Juni and Carmen to solve the mystery. However Juni had an argument with her family and ran away, so no one was Carmenıs backup and Carmen was lost. Thatıs where the exciting part starts.

There was an emotional ending and overall it was GREAT!

  101 Dalmations Part 2
By Tiana C, age 10

My favourite character in this movie is Spot. He is the main character, you might know him from 101 Dalmatians. All of the characters are the same as in the first movie except for Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is an actor in a show. He is a talking dog starring as a hero. He saves people, mainly he saves a little boy who keeps getting caught by an evil cowboy.

Spot loves this show. He watches it every night with his parents and 98 brothers and sisters. He wishes that one day he could be like Thunderbolt.

The family moves to a place in the countryside called Cherry Farm, but Spot misses the moving van because he was sleeping in a different room from the others as he is feeling left out.

Since he is all alone, Spot decides to go to the Thunderbolt auditions for special dogs. The exciting part starts here. I shouldnıt tell you, you should watch it. This movie is very exciting, you have to watch it, VERY soon.

  Spiderman 2
By Austin C, age 8

I like watching Spiderman 2 because there is so much action in it. Spiderman is very good at fighting and saving people in the town. I want to be Spiderman too!

  Peter Pan
By Michelle L, age 7

I like Peter, Wendy and her brothers, they're nice. Peter Pan was very clever. I didn't like Captain Hook and his crew. He and his crew were very mean to Peter and his friends. I liked it when Peter got on the ship and Hook was eaten by the crocodile.

  The Sixth Sense
By Sarah F, age 13

This film is about a child who can see dead people. One of the dead people is a doctor who doesn't know he is dead. I didn't think the movie was very scary because at first I thought the doctor was still a human because I thought that he was saved by the hospital or something had made him wake up again. When I realised that he was dead already I was amazed that he didn't know it. He didn't realise that it was a bit strange. But I found the movie quite fun, they found a new way to write a ghost story.

Jack and the Beanstalk
By Lawrence C, age 11

It was exciting when Jack climbed down the beanstalk and the giant was following him. It was exciting when the giant fell down. I was full of questions when it finished because I went to the toilet and missed the last part. If there was a book called Jack and the Beanstalk 2 I would buy it.
