Course Overview
Trinity GESE Exam - Grade 1 | Speech @ Communication 2 or 3 student (Kowloon Tong)
- Suitable for aged 4 years and above as of 25 Feb 2024
- Must be enrolled in Speech & Communication 2 or 3 from November 2023 to February 2024
- Every child who passes the graded examination will be awarded an individual certificate
- The exam is to take place on one of Kids’ Gallery Trinity designated testing campuses (subject to change/confirmation by exam board)
The Trinity College London GESE in-person exams are provisionally scheduled for Sunday, 25 February 2024. This is a good opportunity for students to test the skills learnt, gain more confidence and self-assurance, and achieve a recognised qualification. We highly recommend that students enter; however, participation is not compulsory.

Skill Focus
Trinity’s GESE exams assess a range of speaking and listening skills and test what a candidate can actually do, rather than just what they know. Preparation for GESE exams focuses on the development of authentic communicative skills and on building the confidence to use English in real life.
Each GESE exam is conducted in person by a Trinity examiner. All Trinity examiners are highly trained and experienced. The exam consists of a one-to-one conversation with the examiner.
