Alex Lau

Alex has a BA (Hons) from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, University of London in Drama, Applied Theatre, and Education. He has a range of experiences in acting, teaching, and theatre production, and has worked as a teacher of public speaking, drama, performing arts, and early years education, as well as acting himself.

Blake Thornycroft

Blake holds a BEcon with Honours from Rhodes University, South Africa. He completed TEFL certification in Prague, CELTA certification from the UK, and a PGCE from Leeds Beckett University. Blake began his education career teaching in South Africa, Czech Republic, and ultimately Hong Kong. He previously set up, managed, and advised education centres expanding into Mainland China while cultivating teaching talent.


Isabella Ng

Isabella holds a Masters of Fine Art (high distinction) from the Royal Institute of Melbourne, and a Bachelors in Fine Art from the School of Art Institute of Chicago. A practising artist with a vibrant studio of her own, Isabella regularly showcases her masterpieces in solo and group exhibitions across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US, as well as shares her skills through teaching young artists.

Ken Lee

Ken holds an MA in Theatre and Performance studies from King’s College London, and a BA in Drama from Queen Mary, University of London. He has been a member of a theatre company with opportunities for both acting on stage and on film to devising different performances. He is also experienced in filming and editing.


Neo Msimka

Neo attended the National School of the Arts where he majored in Drama. He then graduated from Oakfields College with a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance. He has performed in many amateur and professional shows including internationally, such as the Spartacus ballet and Naledi, an African Journey tour to France. He taught Drama at an underprivileged school for one year. He then became an English foreign language teacher for two years in China. His passion and love for the Arts has inspired him to join the Kids' Gallery.


Sarah Johnson

Sarah holds a Bachelors in Fine Art (Distinction) from the Royal Institute of Melbourne and a TEFL qualification. Starting her teaching career as a kindergarten teacher, she later combined teaching with her passion for art. She has gained years of experience sharing her love for visual arts with children and young adults. She strongly believes in the importance of nourishing today's youth through all forms of creative expression.


Tania Tiplady

Tania graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London, with a Bachelors Diploma in Fine Art as well as a BTEC Diploma in Art & Media. She has taught English and art in various schools and centres around London and Hong Kong, including Star English. Tania has a passion for fibre art and photography, with a focus on weaving. She hopes to inspire children to be as creative as possible.

Andrew Swift

Andrew trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and with the National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain. He has performed on the London West End, including in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. He has also appeared on stage in Hong Kong and musically directed several Hong Kong premiers, including Titanic the Musical, Seussical, and Guys and Dolls.

Candice Caalsen

Candice graduated from Stage World Theatre School, South Africa, specialising in Musical Theatre and Acting and completed her Theatre BA degree with Guilford School of Acting. She has taught and directed musical theatre, acting, and singing, with directing credits including Legally Blonde, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Into the Woods, Singin’ in the Rain, My Fair Lady, Catch Me If You Can, Titanic, and Guys and Dolls.

Janice Ngiam

Janice received a BA Hons degree in Psychology and Sociology from McGill University, Canada. She has worked extensively with international school students with a whole range of individualised education plans. She cares especially about the emotional and developmental needs of children as an integral part of their learning. With professional training in ballet and the piano, she is passionate about creativity and artistic expression.


Kevin Kan

Kevin graduated from the University of Reading, UK with a BA in Theatre Art, Education, and Deaf Studies with British Sign Language training, and also holds a Foundation Diploma in Acting from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has taught in numerous theatre companies, learning centres, and schools in the UK and HK, specialising in theatre. He has a keen passion in teaching children, especially with Special Educational Needs.

Rachel Harina

Rachel graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol with a BA in Media Culture and Practices. She participated in musical theatre from a young age which cultivated her passion for the performing arts and she has been teaching for over seven years. She loves inspiring children's drive to improve and develop themselves through their own creative expression.

Savannah Russell

After doing her Art Foundation studies at SCAD HK and finishing Film Studies in the Philippines, Savannah moved to Hong Kong to pursue her career in Visual Arts. She has worked as a production assistant, workshop leader, and with museums including Tai Kwun. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation in visual, digital, and communication arts.

Tony Lam

Tony graduated from Royal Brisbane International College with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality. He loves languages and is currently studying Thai on top of his English and Chinese. He loves interacting with children and has been assisting and teaching a range of courses at Kids' Gallery since 2014. His goal is to inspire children to be innovative through the courses they attend.


Angela Russell

Angela obtained a Musical Theatre diploma from D&B School of Performing Arts, London, as well as an Associate Diploma from the London College of Music, a diploma in Exercise to Music, and a TEFL qualification. She has performed on stage and in music and TV videos internationally with world renowned artists. She currently combines her two passions of performing and teaching, specialising in choreography.

Carmen Tromp

Carmen graduated from Oakfields College, South Africa majoring in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre). She is an actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer; and an experienced teacher of musical theatre, drama, singing, and dancing to children of all ages. She has performed in various films, on TV, and in stage performances, including the children's shows Shrek Jr, Winnie the Pooh, and Seussical Jr. She is currently a Performing & Communication Arts teacher at Kids' Gallery.


Joanna Hotung

Joanna attended the University of London (BA Hons) and Warwick University (MBA). She is also a Licentiate Teacher of Speech and Drama (Distinction) from Trinity College London. She is Chairperson Emeritus at Youth Diabetes Action, Vice-Chairperson at Playright Children’s Play Association, and Advisory Board member at Gleneagles Hospital HK. She has won several awards including SCMP Woman of our Time and AmCham Entrepreneur of the Year.

Megan Devenish

Megan has a BTech in Theatre, Art and Design, an Associate of Fine Arts in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy (NYFA), Los Angeles, USA, and a TEFL certificate. She has been teaching speech, drama, and public speaking for several years in South Africa and Hong Kong to diverse groups of students. She is also an experienced curriculum and script writer.


Regina Lam

Regina holds a BA Creative and Performing Art (Hons) degree from Liverpool Hope University, UK. She is also an alumni of the HKAPA Summer Music School. Regina has experience performing in theatres, on television, and teaching acting and dance workshops in the UK. Regina loves to share her experience and knowledge to students through an international blend of Hong Kong and British culture.


Sharon Harina

Sharon has been working for Kids’ Gallery since she was in high school learning skills across the communication, performing, and visual arts departments as a teaching assistant. Now a teacher in her own right, she is enjoying interacting with the students and exploring the curriculum. She also has experience working as a stage manager and supporting the production teams for Kids' Gallery shows.


Yuki Fung

Yuki has been learning painting and dancing at Kids’ Gallery since she was a child. Now she works as an assistant teacher here. She enjoys the process of working alongside arts students, and through observation and communication, she can easily understand their needs. She also has experience assisting with stage performances.


Anita Wu

Anita holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. She has worked in the education sector for several years teaching English, art, playgroup, and STEAM. Anita was previously also a professional make-up artist. She strives to encourage early learners to develop with creativity and individuality at the KG Group.

Enrico Narvaez

Eric has a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Communication and is a passionate and committed music teacher. He is a professional musician who can sing and play piano, guitar, bass, and drums. He is also a music arranger for instrumentals and vocals used in music production and theatrical works, and a record engineer and video editor. He is an inspiring teacher in Performing Arts and Music.

Justin Leung

Justin holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from Brunel University, London, UK. An avid writer from an early age, he has interned at magazines such as Timeout Hong Kong and is currently working on his own fiction writing when he's not teaching. Justin loves sharing his passion for literary arts with his students.

Natasha Hotung

Natasha obtained her BA (Hons) degree in English and Drama from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Graduate Certificate in Psychology from University College London. She has recently completed her MSc in Psychology and Child Development at UCL. She has a particular interest in teaching the arts for the holistic and developmental benefits of children.

Roy Rolloda

Roy holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Letters, graduating with academic distinction from San Beda College, Philippines. A professional thespian and concert artist, Roy has headlined theatre productions and corporate events. He was a principal vocalist for Hongkong Disneyland, and a cast singer for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. As an educator, he has taught English, drama, and musical theatre in Hong Kong and abroad.

Stellina Wong

Stellina holds a Higher Diploma in Graphic Design from Digital Studio School of Graphic Design and a certificate in teaching art. She has over 10 years of teaching experience working in arts education for all ages, ranging from toddlers to 14 years. She has received awards as Best Art Tutor from Hong Kong and international drawing competitions.
