Part of the Picasso Portfolio this summer, students willapply the genius artist's style and techniques of his Surrealism Period tocreate images of organic shapes and objects depicting motion. Complete all fiveworkshops of the Picasso Portfolio and earn a certificate of completion.

Can a rock throw itself? Such questions prompt the imagination and bring theartist to unexplored and fertile grounds of creativity. In this workshop, ourstudents will learn from the example of Picasso who gave organic shapes andobjects a sense of movement and purpose despite their static forms. Studentswould leave the class with a sense of freedom in experimenting with fresh anddreamy concepts for their art.
